Holy Mountain ( 1973 )
Like we don’t care about the story itself, just the 3D effects, violation, no tolerance, hard stuff endless crap. We don’t care about our life, just the shitty hard-not healthy drugs, and that kind of nothing in it. We just sell those films as profit, not to make art, and nothing really serious, like to discuss social problems…
The film was produced by Abacko films, and the member of The Beatles, John Lennon, and his wife Yoko Ono.
Jodorowsky directed the film in Mexico, because of its nature, and landscape, which is the perfect scene for the story. The fucking amazing and creepy story is about a Thief, who looks like Jesus Christ, and he has no real meaning in his life, he suffers a lot, until he meets a midget, who has no arms, and the midget shows a way for him, to start something, which is really good, and adventures, and dangerous.
The Thief, goes to a church, where he saws twelve prostitutes, which is the meaning that, the twelve prophet in the bible is a lie, in the director’s opinion. (Maybe)
One of the Prostitutes shows the next way to the Thief, to go to another church, where corrupted soldiers are dancing with drunken priests. The thief finds a way to a building, where the Mighty Master lives, who knows, who the world really works. The Master speaks to the thief, and he says, that he knows a place, where the Immortals live, and if he kills the immortals, then he can became an immortal too.
The weird Master and the thief, recounting a civilian rich aristocratic group, which is so shameful, because of their sins.
The bastards burn all of their money; they are forsaken of the comfortable life, of being rich, because, that is the task, and the only way, to go to the adventure. It’s a requirement of The Master.
When this Super A-team group arrives at The Holy Mountain, they discover that it’s a really strange place, and they can’t really decide, what to do.
Everybody, each one of them at there is high on drugs, or just stupid, or the (Inland persons) housekeepers just want to cross their ways of this Super A-Team. In the end, the Thief and the team finds they way of the truth, and the way, where the immortals live. But there is not a real ending, because the director doesn’t wants the film to end in a real story way, because he doesn’t want to make an opinion of religion, or capitalism, communism, or there is another life after we die, or not.
Or just go to a coffee shop. ( If you are in Amsterdam or in a highly recommended society living country.)
